Response to TfL private hire consultation

It’s positive that the most impractical suggestions from the initial consultation have been ruled out. However I still have significant concerns about some of the proposals that TfL now wish to take forward. For example I am unconvinced that TfL should be able to control advertising on private hire vehicles and I would not like to see the advance of ridesharing undermined. There will be a fresh consultation on removing the exemption from private hire vehicles on driving into the Congestion Charge Zone and I am not in favour of a proposal that will increase fares and reduce choice for Londoners.
