MAKE LONDON BUILD

 1

MORE HOMES NOW

Housebuilding on Sadiq Khan's watch is unacceptable slow, London needs the Mayor's housing programme to be a sprint, not a marathon.

The Mayor received an £4.82 billion government grant to start building 116,000 affordable homes by 2022. Despite this unprecedented investment, Khan has only started 45% of those homes in four years. And now says he won't meet the deadline.

We are calling on the Mayor to speed up his housebuilding programme to help thousands of Londoners get on the housing ladder now, not later.

 2

RESTORE FAMILY HOMES TARGET

We are fighting to end overcrowding in London and ensure that Londoners' families have space to grow in our city.

Sadiq Khan's decision to de-prioritise family homes has led to the number of affordable family homes being built by City Hall falling by a third. Khan's policies are failing the 360,000 children living in overcrowded homes.

We are campaigning to restore City Hall's family-sized homes target to tackle overcrowding and help families live in London.

 3

UNLOCK BROWNFIELD LAND

London's police officers put their lives on the line to protect our city every day. It's the Mayor's job to protect them.

We are fighting to ensure that officers have the equipment they need to keep our city and themselves safe, including tasers and spit guards. We are also calling for the mental health support available to officers to be reformed.

 4

PROTECT LONDON'S SUBURBS

Special Constables are an important part of policing in London. But on Khan's watch, the number of these voluntary officers has fallen by 45%.

We are calling for the Mayor to boost the number of Special Constables by encouraging retired police officers, football fans, and students to volunteer.
