On Sadiq Khan's watch, crime has soared out of control. London needs more police officers on the beat to make our city safe. 

We've identified nearly £104 million of savings the Mayor could make to invest in policing in London. By cutting waste at City Hall, our plan could recruit an extra 1,598 police officers to tackle crime.

We back the police to use stop and search to get dangerous weapons off London's streets.

Intelligence-led stop and search will help make London safe and City Hall needs to back the police to use the vital tool.

PROTECT OUR POLICE

London's police officers put their lives on the line to protect our city every day. It's the Mayor's job to protect them.

We are fighting to ensure that officers have the equipment they need to keep our city and themselves safe, including tasers and spit guards. We are also calling for the mental health support available to officers to be reformed.

MORE SPECIAL CONSTABLES

Special Constables are an important part of policing in London. But on Khan's watch, the number of these voluntary officers has fallen by 45%.

We are calling for the Mayor to boost the number of Special Constables by encouraging retired police officers, football fans, and students to volunteer.
